Returns Policy

At Photobee, we handle your precious memories with the utmost care. Because film developing is a customized, chemical service and photographic items are highly sensitive to light and heat, we have established the following guidelines for refunds, returns, and cancellations.

1. Film Processing & Scanning Services

  • Blank Rolls (Unexposed/Damaged Film): If you submit a roll of film that turns out completely blank, clear, or black due to camera malfunction, severe exposure errors, or blank film, we cannot refund the development fee. The chemistry, time, and labour were still utilized to process the roll. However, if you pre-paid for scans or prints, we will issue a refund or store credit for the scanning/printing portion of that roll.
  • The Nature of Film: We are not responsible for the outcome of film that is expired, improperly stored, heat-damaged, or shot on faulty camera equipment. Refunds will not be issued based on aesthetic dissatisfaction or camera-related issues.
  • Lab Errors: In the extremely rare event that your film is damaged or lost due to a direct mistake or equipment failure in our lab, we will issue a full refund for the processing service and provide a replacement roll of equivalent unexposed film.

2. Digital Scan Delivery

  • Once digital scans (JPEG or TIFF) have been delivered to you via email, download link, or cloud drive, the service is considered completely fulfilled.
  • No refunds will be issued for digital download links after they have been sent, unless there is a technical error on our end that we cannot remedy.

3. Physical Retail Goods (Film Stocks, Cameras, Accessories)

  • Unopened Items: Brand new, unexposed film stock, reusable cameras, and accessories can be returned within 7 Days of purchase for a full refund or exchange. Items must be in their original, unopened packaging.
  • Exposed/Opened Film: For quality control and safety reasons, we cannot accept returns on opened or exposed film stock, as we cannot verify how it was stored or if it was exposed to light/heat.
